A hybrid-electric, hatchback, the Honda Insight was produced between 1999 and 2014. The first-generation Insight, which spans model years 2000 to 2006, had the distinction of being the most fuel-efficient gasoline-powered car available in the United States throughout the entirety of its six-year production run. This first-generation was a three-door, two-seat model, which was upgraded to a five-door, five-passenger version beginning with the 2010 model. Although the model originally sold quite well, sales dramatically declined following the release of the second-generation and the Insight was discontinued in 2014.CalTrend is the leading provider of Honda Insight leather seat covers.
